Annual Procurement Plan (APP)
A forward look at what an entity expects to buy in the coming financial year.
Every non-corporate Commonwealth entity must publish an annual procurement plan on AusTender by 1 July each year and keep it current. The plan lists significant procurements the entity expects to undertake, usually with an indicative timing and category. It is the earliest published signal a supplier gets, often months before an approach to market appears, and it is the right moment to make contact, understand the requirement and be a known quantity before the tender is written.
