Closing Time

The deadline for lodgement. Stated in one jurisdiction's local time, and strictly enforced.

Every approach to market states a closing date and time in the local time of one jurisdiction, commonly ACT local time. A response received after that instant is normally excluded from consideration regardless of merit, and the buyer has limited discretion to accept a late lodgement. Because Australia spans several time zones and three jurisdictions do not observe daylight saving, the same closing instant can be three hours earlier on your clock than on the notice. Lodge well before the deadline: portals queue under load.
