Contract Notice (CN)
The published record of a contract the Australian Government has actually entered into.
Commonwealth entities must publish a contract notice on AusTender for every contract valued at $10,000 or more including GST, normally within 42 days of entering into it. The notice names the buyer, the supplier and their ABN, the value including GST, the contract period, the UNSPSC category and the procurement method used. Contract notices are the single best source of competitive intelligence available to an Australian supplier: they tell you who won, for how much, and when the contract ends, which is when it is likely to be recompeted.
